Mehak Fatima

I, Mehak Fatima, have completed my B.Sc. (Hons) in Plant Biotechnology from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, Mohali. As a biotechnology student I have been very much interested in plant tissue culture since my bachelor’s. I am fortunate enough to pursue my Ph.D. with research work involving plant tissue culture work based on standardization of tissue culture protocols of two rice landraces. As a member of Genome Engineering and Societal Biotechnology Lab, I am committed to develop the efficient protocols which can be used in future for genetic transformation studies.
