Syed Anam Ul Haq

I, Syed Anam Ul Haq, have completed my bachelor’s in Forestry and master’s in Biotechnology. As a PhD scholar under the mentorship of Prof. Amjad M. Husaini I was awarded the prestigious SRF-Direct fellowship by CSIR-HRDG-New Delhi in 2023. My academic and research journey is driven by a profound passion for advancing scientific knowledge and applications. My transition from forestry to biotechnology is rooted in a deep-seated enthusiasm for research and innovation, particularly in the application of cutting-edge omics technologies to improve agricultural practices in saffron. Through detailed analysis of saffron’s transcriptomic and metabolic profiles, I am working to identify key biomarkers and pathways that can be targeted to enhance saffron quality and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses.
