About Memeber

I, Tabish Jaan, completed my bachelor’s degree in Sericulture from the College of Temperate Sericulture, Mirgund (SKUAST-K). Driven by a passion for research, I joined the Genome Engineering and Societal Biotechnology Lab, Division of Plant Biotechnology (SKUAST-K). My current research focuses on the in vitro micropropagation of apple rootstock MM106, utilizing silicon nanoparticles and different wavelengths of light to assess regeneration efficiency. The use of silicon nanoparticles in tissue culture and the impact of light on plant growth are cutting-edge areas of study, and I am dedicated to explore these aspects to their fullest potential. I am enthusiastic about the potential applications of my work in agricultural biotechnology and am eager to contribute to innovations that support sustainable agriculture and improve crop production.
